Mall For Women is the brainchild of Mrs. Sanele Simmons II. She is a qualified beauty expert from Camelot International with 18 years of experience in the beauty industry.
She is also a Mrs. South Africa Semi-Finalist 2017, and former Jenna Clifford Brand Ambassador. She enjoys helping women to look and feel beautiful. In 2018 she established the Sanele Simmons Shine Academy, a finishing school that specializes in etiquette, grooming, and the arts. Later she founded a lifestyle movement called Beauty With Intention, which focuses on inner and outer beauty and engages women on issues that are more than skin deep. Mrs Simmons is also a Director of Kenzo Project Management an entertainment company that specializes in TV Production, Music Production, Event Management, Marketing, and Sponsorship.
A member of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), Mrs Simmons joined under the leadership of Former President Jacki Mpondo-Hendricks, the first black female president in its 130 years of existence. In the second quarter of 2020, the JCCI Women's Desk organized an e-commerce training with Insaka eCommerce Academy that was conducted by its founder, Mr. Warrick Kernes. Mrs. Simmons attended the course and it rekindled a 7-year dream of hers. It was 2013 when she first had the vision for Mall For Women, but thought it could only be done as a brick and mortar business. The capital required was huge and she thought the timing wasn't right. Ironically, the COVID-19 pandemic presented an ideal time with shops closed due to lock-down, and the required capital was far less. On the 9th of August 2020, National Women's Day in South Africa, Mall For Women was officially launched.
Mr. Ken H. Simmons, II
Mr. Simmons has more than 30 years of professional experience in business that originates in the United States of America. He is from Oakland, California, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley. He practiced architecture professionally for over 13 years. In the last 20 years plus, Mr. Simmons has been Chairman, President, CEO, Managing Director, and/or COO in the companies he has worked for, and he achieved success in all positions.
As Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Mall For Women, Mr. Simmons oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. He is very creative and has a high technical aptitude, which makes him a dynamic and well-balanced executive. Mr. Simmons is also a published author, having written his column called "In My Humble Opinion" on a bi-weekly basis for the Michigan Banner newspaper in the USA.
Mr. & Mrs. Simmons have been together since 2011, married for 10 years, and working together for 6 years. They have a beautiful blended family of 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls.
