The Queens in Business Youth Event Business Pitch Competition was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible support from the sponsors Tshimologo Institute, and EWY Global and Mall For Women. This event aimed to empower young female entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and business acumen.

We are thrilled to announce the winner of this prestigious competition: Miriamo Merina Sitoe. At just 29 years old, Miriamo hails from Mozambique and is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is the proud owner of Auria Elegants, a flourishing business that specializes in natural flower arrangements, elegant and personalized gifts, and stunning flower decorations for events like weddings, engagements, birthdays, and baby showers.

Miriamo's journey is both inspiring and heartfelt. Her love for flowers and nature was a lifelong passion, but it was the tragic loss of her daughter that truly ignited her entrepreneurial spirit. In honor of her daughter, she founded Auria Elegants in 2022, naming the business after her as a tribute. "I believe that every moment deserves to be celebrated with love," Miriamo says. She chose to transform her pain into happy memories, creating beautiful gifts that express love and joy.

Her business is more than just a source of income; it's a labor of love. "My business is my passion. I love what I do. It brings me joy knowing that I have created something with my own hands that can bring love and happiness to so many people," Miriamo shares. Her dedication and talent have not only made her a successful entrepreneur but also a beacon of hope and inspiration for other young women.

Miriamo's ambition is to become a successful businesswoman globally and to serve as a role model for young women everywhere. She wants to show them that with determination, courage, and love, anything is possible. "Nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself," she asserts.
